Box Hill Institute is seeking expressions of interest in free, self-paced online study of three units in the Diploma of Prefabricated Building Systems (Timber) which is approved under the Workforce Training Innovation Fund pilot program (ZERO FEE).

The course is comprised of three units from the 22502VIC Diploma of Project Management in Prefabricated Building Systems (Timber):

  • VU22675 Manage critical path processes for productivity and scheduling of prefabricated building systems

  • BSBPMG521 Manage project integration

  • CPCMCM8001 Plan and manage complex projects

The three units of the course will start on 20 September 2020 and be required to be completed by 31 March 2021. Whilst there is a deadline for completion, these units will be 100% online in a self-paced format with individual tutorial support offered remotely. Participants will learn how to plan, control and deliver a prefabricated timber building and assembly project using critical path analysis and methodology concepts. Skills include complex project monitoring strategies and project evaluation at completion.

If students wish to continue and complete the full course, there are more core units and electives that must be undertaken. At that point, there will be a fee required to complete these extra units and achieve the full Diploma of Project Management in Prefabricated Building Systems (timber).

Please note, this opportunity is only open to prefabAUS members and their employees.
