Theme: Building the future we want: Smart building for SA’s housing, infrastructure and reindustrialisation

Lance Worrall, co-author of Building the Future We Want: A Prefabrication Industry Roadmap to 2033 will deep-dive into three of the most critical recommendations from Roadmap as selected by prefabAUS members.

The presentation will explore how prefabricated building is the smart way to deliver much of South Australia’s $475 million housing package; the necessary inclusion of a Prefab Innovation Hub in the Tonsley precinct and the inclusion of prefab building in SA’s wider advanced manufacturing strategy.

We will hear from Ryan Brown, Strategic Director – Modular at Shape and, Jon Anderson, General Manager – Modular and Emerging Markets at Sarah Constructions discussing current and future modular and mass timber infrastructure projects in South Australia.

The event will be MC’d by Dino Vrynios, Managing Director, DAS Studio.
