- In New Zealand, the 2013 Prefab RoadMap for New Zealand by the industry body PrefabNZ.
- In the UK, Sir John Egan’s influential 1998 report Rethinking Construction.
- In the USA, the 2009 publication Advancing the Competitiveness and Efficiency of the U.S. Construction Industry by the National Research Council
The convergence of this thinking with emerging design and fabrication technologies, coupled with the design community’s interest in design-led construction innovation, means that building prefabrication is now more viable, more relevant, more exciting than ever.
