George Sfinas

George Sfinas is an Engagement Officer in the Building & Construction sector at Standards Australia. George liaises with stakeholders across Australia to ensure Australian standards are contemporary, relevant and reflective of industry. George is responsible for the progression of project proposals as well as maintaining balanced and suitable Technical Committees across the sector.

George was instrumental in the establishment of BD-111, a technical committee focused on Prefabricated building. The committee was established in 2021 and is the Australian committee participating in the International Organization for Standardisation’s ‘Prefabricated building’ subcommittee.
