Nanette Fitzgerald

Nanette Fitzgerald, Executive Director, Industry Development and Manufacturing, Victorian Government Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions leads the development and implementation of Victoria's industry development policies across key sectors, including a strong focus on manufacturing and construction, that helps drive sustainable industry, supply chains and jobs growth to positively impact Victorians and the economy.  

Nanette also leads Victoria's industry participation policies of Fair Jobs Code and Local Jobs First, which supports Victorian businesses and workers by ensuring that small and medium size enterprises are given a full and fair opportunity to compete for both large and small government contracts, helping to create opportunities, including those for apprentices, trainees and cadets through the Major Project Skills Guarantee. 

Nanette has worked across multiple areas of the Victorian Government including Infrastructure, Planning and Major Projects, Automotive Transition, public land and fire management.
